Idiootti Puutarhuri on koreografi Laura Jantusen luoma narrihahmo ja vuodesta 2022 lähtien kehittämä teossarja, joka tarkastelee tanssitaiteen keinoin ihmisen ja lähiympäristön välistä suhdetta. Sarjan teokset tutkivat: miten inhimilliset ja ei- inhimilliset olennot rakentavat koreografioitaan viheralueilla, minkälaista kehollisuutta ne synnyttävät ja mitä kokemuksia menetämme tuhotessamme elinympäristöjämme.

Teoksen puvustus Puutarhurin talviturkki -ryijyasu (2024-2025), on esillä Suomen käsityön museon Ryijy.Nyt. -näyttelyssä 10.5.‒31.8.2025.

The Idiot Gardener is a series of works created by choreographer Laura Jantunen. Developed from 2022 onwards, the series explores the relationship between humans and their immediate environment through dance. The pieces in the series examine how human and non-human beings choreograph in green spaces, the embodiment they create, and the experiences we lose when we destroy our habitats.

The costume from the performance is on display at the Craft Museum of Finland in the Rya rug. Now. -exhibition 10.5.‒31.8.2025.
